From January 28th through February 2nd, athletes and coaches from around the world converged at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada and took part in one of the most competitive taekwondo tournaments every year – The US Open!
But no one stands on the podium alone. A true champion knows that standing on the podium is like standing on the shoulders of their biggest, most steadfast, and doggedly loyal fans. For many, these most ardent supporters are their parents.
This year, 94 schools brought over 750 competitors to the mats inside the Walter Pyramid at Cal State Long Beach. Quest had a particularly strong showing, with a contingent of 27 athletes competing in poomsae and/or sparring.
